In our series through some of the OT we are seeing the face of Christ explicitly in the text. Amos is no different, as the prophet speaks to Israel, he uproots some wild presumptions, that because they are “His” people, they would be exempt from any consequences of their sin. Amos has another thought on the matter. Through it all though, even though God judges the “nation”, He also saves the remnant, those who would be saved in Christ alone. To the praise of His glorious grace. Be prepared to meet your God!
